Ordinands explore what they need to know, be, and do in the essential role of the bishop. Topics of study in this eight-lesson course include understanding covenant principles and what it means to be a minister of generosity; teaching and modeling the concepts of true capacity and the six principles of a Disciple’s Generous Response; providing sacramental ministry; receiving and sharing; promoting justice and peacemaking; and partnering in ministry with others in Christ’s mission.
