Four Approaches to Violence is class material to help members and friends of Community of Christ participate in discussion about the place of nonviolence in the life and mission of the church in preparation for World Conference 2022.   This balanced resource was written by three church members holding different perspectives on violence but who have been friends for years. Dave Anderson spent 30 years in the US Air Force as a fighter pilot, strategic planner in international affairs, and diplomat.  Elray Henriksen served in the Norwegian Airforce before studying Peace Studies at undergraduate and master’s level. Andrew Bolton is from the British Isles and coordinated Peace and Justice Ministries for the church for 12 years.  They want the church to understand different perspectives fairly, share respectfully, and continue as united sisters and brothers in the cause of Zion and the pursuit of peace throughout the world.
